چکیده
The lacustrine system developed in the basin of Mexico has been great interest studies various geological and social disciplines. Its sediments preserve history environmental changes that occurred during late Quaternary. Between 2016 2018, a set sediment cores were collected Xochimilco sub-basin, located south Mexico. From these sedimentary sequences, master sequence was constructed represents upper 66.5 m deposits. For establishment its stratigraphic column, 15 lithotypes defined from their components which clastic made up silicates dominate, mostly silt clay size. most abundant biogenic fraction is diatoms frequently form oozes, ostracods are common component sequence, locally hashes. Interbedded with volcaniclastic Eight lithological units based on dominant lithotypes. time scale still uncertain for oldest sediments; however, it estimated covers last 300000 to 350000 years. this temporality, oscillations millennial scales inferred. Diatom-rich laminated represent deepest phases lake. deposits higher authigenic calcareous indicate ionic concentration lake shallower. detailed analysis stratigraphy description allows establish an initial interpretation variations depositional environments, provides base paleoclimatic indicators will be supported.

The origin of agriculture was a signal development in human affairs and as such has occupied the attention of scholars from the natural and social sciences for well over a century. Historical studies of climate and vegetation are closely associated with crop plant evolution because they can reveal the ecological contexts of plant domestication together with the antiquity and effects of agricult...
متن کاملPerchlorate in pleistocene and holocene groundwater in north-central New Mexico.
Groundwater from remote parts of the Middle Rio Grande Basin in north-central New Mexico has perchlorate (ClO4-) concentrations of 0.12-1.8 micro/L. Because the water samples are mostly preanthropogenic in age (0-28000 years) and there are no industrial sources in the study area, a natural source of the ClO4- is likely. Most of the samples have Br-, Cl-, and SO4(2-) concentrations that are simi...
متن کاملClimate-Human interaction over the Iranian Plateau during the Upper Pleistocene-Holocene: A review
During the past two decades an array of studies have shed light on potential links between the evolution of Hominids as well as Human dispersal out of Africa and episodes of abrupt climate change. Although archaeological evidences suggest that anatomically modified humans appeared in Africa between 200 and 150 ky ago, the timing of the early humans migration out of Africa remained unclear. Stra...
متن کاملLate Pleistocene and late Holocene lake highstands in the Pyramid Lake subbasin of Lake Lahontan, Nevada, USA
Shoreline geomorphology, shoreline stratigraphy, and radiocarbon dates of organic material incorporated in constructional beach ridges record large lakes during the late Pleistocene and late Holocene in the Pyramid Lake subbasin of Lake Lahontan, Nevada, USA. During the late Holocene, a transgression began at or after 3595 F 35 C yr B.P. and continued, perhaps in pulses, through 2635 F 40 C yr ...
متن کاملSedimentology and Stratigraphy of the Pleistocene sediments in Lake Llauset (Southern Pyrenees, Spain)-a first approach
The high alpine valleys in the Southem Pyrenees are characterised by a many small lakes and ponds. They occur above 2000 m and are said to have been formed by glacial erosion. The sediments in these basins should, therefore, contain s t p tigraphic information since deglaciation, at least. An interesting and may be one of the most important of these basins is Lake Llauset in the Alta Ribagorca....
